HALLOWEEN

 "HALLOWEEN"

Halloween means "All Hallow's Eve", the word comes from Old English, and means "eve of all saints," as it refers to the night of October 31, the eve of the Feast of All Saints. However, the old Anglo-Saxon custom has stolen his strict religious sense to hold in place the night of terror, of witches and ghosts. Halloween marks a sad return to the old paganism, a trend that has spread also among Hispanic peoples.

Origins

The celebration of Halloween began with the Celts, ancient inhabitants of Eastern Europe, Western and parts of Asia Minor. Among them lived the Druids, pagan priests worshiping trees, especially oak. They believed in the immortality of the soul, which they said was introduced to another individual to leave the body, but on October 31, returned to his old home to seek food for their inhabitants, who were obliged to make provision for it.Pumpkin, candy, costumes .

The pumpkin was added later and has its origin in the Scandinavian countries and then returned to Europe and the rest of Latin cultural colonization through its media and television films and imported films.

In recent years, begins to rage between the Mediterranean and Latin American teenagers who forget their own rich traditions to adopt the hollow pumpkin lit. At Hallowe'en (All Hallow's eve of), literally the eve of All Saints, the Saxon legend says it is easy to see witches and ghosts. Children dress up and go, with a candlein a pumpkin hollowed introduced in which incisions are made to form a skull, from house to house. When the door opens shout "trick or treat" (joke or gift) to indicate that a joke on those who do not give them a sort of tip or bonus in sweets or money.

I do not celebrate Halloween, I do not see it as a support for the devil who is not but I see well, I am a Christian and that does not look good to support a party that almost worship is evensomething that is not with God.

Terrified in Maracaibo apparition of the ghost of a bride

A William Rodriguez did not have time to think of anything that morning. The safety coordinator Maracaibo Yacht Club ran scared when he saw one of the most surprising and strange things in his life. Was supposed to be a common surveillance round, without news, but I was wrong, a lot. Live the scariest moment of its existence, review the Truth.
The man, of fair complexion, medium height, abdomen width and thick mustache, still can not believe what happened for months. "It was about 3.00 am," he recalls. "While making the rounds went to the cashier who is to pass one of the glass doors. He was making the transaction as smooth as when I heard a noise behind me and was stunned when he turned, "he says. "I saw clearly what it looked like a woman with anger stirred the door. She was wearing a white wedding dress and veil would not let me see his face. "
Printing paralyzed him. Running was the first thing that occurred to him. Alone and in such a situation, Rodriguez did not even mind leaving Chuck debit card used at the time. It was later arrival in the morning, when the man who has 14 years working in the club, got the strength to go back to where hours before had been frightened by the ghost of the bride.
The news spread like wildfire in the club, where he is known to horror as "lame." Those who have seen the woman in her wedding dress have detailed walking impaired does, as one of the workers tells the place, who will safeguard the identity he asked. "Yes, she was limping," said Rodriguez. "We know as the 'take'.
Hands ghosts
But that's not the only testimony about alleged apparitions at the Marina. Is estimated to have almost 10 times in the past two years, mainly in the lounge and lobby Coquivacoa.
One of the waiters happened something like Rodriguez who lived barely two months ago.One of those nights are long for social events are held in place, the boy decided to take a break in one of the classrooms. His dream was cut short by the hands of the bride ghost who suddenly took it, threw off the bed and dragged along the ground.
The mystery does not end there. Nobody can explain, for example, how is it that in a photograph taken recently one of the doors appeared a face that seems to be screaming. Many wonder who or what objects thrown on the floor in a warehouse site.
This would happen when there is no staff inside. Therefore, waiters and prefer to remain vigilant in their respective working groups until after the workday. No one wants to be a victim of the ghost of "take" the Yacht Club or the other spirits who for some unknown reason shake the quietness of the place at night.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE BAGPIPE ENCOUNTERS LA GREY ZULIANA by RicardoCepeda is a beautiful song that identifies the Zulia
En todo tiempo cuando a la
calle sales, mi reina,
tu pueblo amado te ha
confundido en un solo amor,
amor inmenso, glorioso,
excelso, sublime y tierno,
amor celeste divinizado hacia
tu bondad.

Madre mía, si el gobierno
no ayuda al pueblo zuliano,
tendréis que meter la mano
y mandarlo pa'l infierno. (Bis)

La grey zuliana cual rosario popular
de rodillas va a implorar a su patrona,
y una montaña de oraciones quiere dar
esta gaita magistral que el saladillo la entona. (Bis)

Tu pueblo te pide ahora
madre mía, lo ayudéis
y que fortuna le deis,
con mucho amor te lo implora. (Bis)

La grey zuliana...

Acabaron con la plata
y se echaron a reír,
pero les puede salir
el tiro por la culata. (Bis)

La grey zuliana...

Maracaibo ha dando tanto
que debiera de tener
carreteras a granel
con morocotas de canto. (Bis)

La grey zuliana...
